World Breastfeeding week is celebrated worldwide in August every year. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works.”
The maternal and child health team at HopeXchange Medical Centre joins this celebration this year by organizing
a Lactation Conference for all health workers. The import of this CPD accredited conference is to educate health care workers about breastfeeding challenges.
Unlike the previous ones this year’s conference has three tracks: Lactation, Gastroenterology and Nutrition, and
Pediatric Surgery.
